Hey there. My name is Jen. I’ve been living with mental illness to some capacity for 25 years, and was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. At first I was scared. Thought I would lose everything I held dear. But, I realized I had an important story to tell you.
My journey with mental health issues has taught me so much. I have learned strength, hope, and resilience, and that is a message I want to share with you.
A little bit about me
When I’m not blogging, I’m married to my love of more than 14 years. We have two amazing kiddos (see pics above. My husband is to the right of David Tennant.) We are big TV nuts, and are always looking to recommend shows to people. I swear, we are the reason the phrase “binge watching” was created. I am also a big bookworm! (My Goodreads goal for 2020 is 36 books.)
