This blog has been an amazing way for me to get my thoughts out and grapple with my own demons. It’s like a journal but better! It’s better because it has the potential to help someone else who is going through the same issues as I am.
I have lived with depression since I was 9 years old. In 2010, at age 24, my diagnosis changed to rapid cycling bipolar 2. I live, and write, with total honesty. My opinions might not be for everyone and that’s okay. I understand that this is a sensitive topic for many.
Whatever the case, my goal for this blog is to create meaningful dialogue. I want to get people engaged and talking. After all, problems do not get solved by NOT talking about them, do they? And the mental health crisis definitely needs to be solved.
