Meet the Blogger: Introducing “The Perfect Whisk”

Welcome to the latest installment of my interview series, featuring The Perfect Whisk!

Who are some of your favorite bloggers? I try to follow as many as I can because they have so much wisdom to pass on. (Including bloggers like my guest today!)

That’s what gave me the idea for this interview series. I wanted to glean as much knowledge as I could from those much wiser than me.

This is our twelfth installment of my interview series, Meet the Blogger, all about The Perfect Whisk, a fellow blogger. (You can read our previous installment here:

Interview with The Perfect Whisk

First of all, tell me a little about yourself.

Hey! I’m Mansi! I am a dessert blogger. I quit my full time corporate job for a career in blogging and business. Cakes, Desserts and latest trends in the cake industry inspire me!

What is your connection to the blogging and/or mental health community?

I started blogging just last year to share my experiences and perspectives with interested readers.

What is the hardest part about having a successful blog?

You need to be consistent and constantly putting something new and interesting enough for your audiences to stay afloat.

What is the biggest challenge the mental health community faces currently?

Dealing with Social Media. Awareness for Social Media Addiction and Campaigns is something that needs traction.

What are 5 things many people do not know about you?

-I am a Software Engineer by qualification.

-I love to play Badminton.

-I am a Gardening Enthusiast. Having plants around me cheers my day up.

-I love to read Books( I am currently reading Rich Dad Poor Dad).

-I love watching horror movies.

What is your favorite book and why?

The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho because it inspires to give you hope in worst situations.

What do you do when you are having a really hard day to lift your spirits?

I just remember whatever I’m grateful for having in my life.

What makes a person brave?

An “I am not going to give up” attitude for achieving your dreams.

What 3 words would you use to describe yourself and why?

Simple, Perservering, Optimistic

What is your biggest flaw?

I am bad at prioritizing things which is so important for smooth completion of work.

What is your greatest strength?

It is my Persevering attitude towards my work.

What is your best childhood memory?

When I got my first pet Cat.

Where do you envision your blog in 5 years?

My blog is all about desserts and cake recipes. I want my blog to be the go-to place for beginners who are just starting out with baking where they know they will find all the guidance and tutorials they need for becoming a flawless baker.

Where do you see the mental health community in 5 years?

To see people not shaming anyone with a mental disorder and many of treatments and uplifting therapies being available online just like with other areas of life.

A lot of awareness has been coming in for mental health related issues which is so good to see.

Who do you follow to stay updated on all things blogging and/or  mental health? Share their links below!

I follow Ruth Soukup (Elite Blog Academy), Cate Rosales (Becoming a Blogger), Suzi Whitford (Start a Mom Blog) among others and I love their amazing outlook towards life!

  1. Like your truth and honesty. I try my best to put my knowledge and know-how from being an educator into everything I write. Hopefully things pick up but for now I’m just getting things off the ground and hoping for more traffic in the long run. Best of luck to us both
